Day 2 in Stockholm

Let me just start out by saying, you've never been on a walking tour like the one we were on today. This walking tour should have been called a JOGGING tour, with a warning that it would last 3 hours on cobblestone roads. We really did get to see bits and pieces of the entire city today with our guide, and lots of interesting facts we would have never known otherwise. We toured the Old Town, including a walk outside the Royal Palace, the Parliament building, and many museums. We also got to visit the Vasa Museum, a larger than life ship that has been recovered from the bottom of sea and pieced back together. It was discovered in 14,000 pieces and was slowly brought back up and put back together. It was pretty amazing. After the visit to the ship, we were allowed to wander off on our own for the rest of the day. We ate lunch at another restrauant with pasta and fish. One thing about being in a foreign country is that your forced to try things you would never try at home. I had a piece of fish and pasta and both were delicious. After lunch we walked around some more and visited 2 churches and toured the Noble Museuem, a museum that documents the Noble Peace Prize. Now after 9 hours of walking, I'm laying down hoping the ADVIL soon goes into effect.

LOVE <3
