London is wonderful and I'm loving every minute of it. This past Friday we went and saw Billy Elliot, the musical where the little boy wants to learn to dance. It was great and I really enjoyed it. Saturday we went to Portobello Road market and of course I couldn't leave without purchasing an owl. The market was filled with so many people and was a little overwhelming. Definitly worth the experience though. Saturday afternoon we did some shopping on Regent and Oxford Street. Saturday night a group of us girls went and got sushi and then ice cream afterwards. I have a new favorite ice cream, and I've proceeded to have it twice a day since Sunday. The flavor is banoffee, like banana coffee, and it's amazing. Sunday we went to Westminster Abbey for the morning church service. It was great to actually be in the abbey without all the crowds and people touring it. It was amazing just to sit there and take in the breathtaking surroundings. I loved hearing the organ play throughout the service. That afternoon we went and got crepes from a place just down the street from the college. They were amazing! I've got to learn how to make crepes when I get back home. Sunday night we went to see STOMP which was awesome. I loved it. Monday we went to Stonehenge. Let's just say it was a been there, done that day. It looks just like the pictures I've grown up seeing, nothing is changing about it, and it's not going anywhere. So I don't feel the need to ever go back but I can now say I've been there. After Stonehenge we headed to Bath for the rest of the afternoon. I wish we had been able to spend more time there. We went to the fashion mueseum where Princess Diana's dress collection is held and then to the Roman Bath Mueseum and Pump Room. It's amazing how the whole city was built around these hot-springs. Yesterday we had a company visit to American Express. There is just nothing exciting to say about it, so I'll leave you with that. Last night we went on a Jack the Ripper tour of London. Our guide was known as the "Ripperologist" and has studied Jack the Ripper for ages. It was an interesting tour to say the least. He took us to all the murder locations and told us about the stories. Today we don't have a lot planned. I'm going to see Wicked tonight and I'm so excited! I've never seen it before. Tomorrow we leave for Paris for the weekend! I can't wait to be there and experience another city. It's going to be great!
Miss yall!

I don't think my other comment did right. When I went back that day (ater I had written it- it was there - then later I showed the Blog about London to Jack and it was GONE!) Guess I did something wrong. Anyway we have really enjoyed hearing all your news. Glad you are having such a GREAT time. Everything sounds exciting and GRAND! Keep those Blogs coming. We got your card thanks for thinking of us.
